Captain Athena Skellion – (Operations Division Executive Officer)

Athena B. Skellion, is the Executive Officer assigned to the Operations Division.  The Executive Officer reports to and functions as executive assistant to the Operations Major.  She assists the Operations Major with commanding, coordinating, directing and controlling the activities of the division. 

Captain Skellion holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Arts from Barry University.  In addition, she is a graduate of the Southern Police Institute’s Command Officers Development Course. Captain Skellion is also a member of the Miami-Dade Police Chief’s Association.
