Major Anthony Chapman

Major Chapman is the Commander for the Miami Gardens Police Department’s Investigations Division.  He joined the Miami Gardens Police Department after working twenty years with the New York City Police Department.  He retired at the rank of Lieutenant as the Commanding Officer of the Movie/TV Unit where he supervised and managed all commercial filming on the streets of New York City.  His previous assignments include assorted Patrol assignments, Anti-Crime Unit, Transit Bureau, Platoon Commander, Patrol Borough Brooklyn South Auto Larceny Unit, and the Internal Affairs Bureau. 

Major Chapman holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing Management from Bernard Baruch College.  He is a member of the Miami Dade Police Chief’s Association and the Kiwanis Club of Miami Gardens.
